About our new journalist, Katherine Duffek

My love of hockey began when I was a kid, watching my brother play every weekend. At some point in my early years, I realized working in sports was my dream career path. I graduated from Saint Bonaventure University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Sports Journalism. I have worked in the sport's world for seven years, including two years with the Buffalo Sabres. I can’t wait to join the Nickel City Buffalo team this season!
